Binghamton’s pitching didn’t wrack up a ton of strikeouts, but they were just effective enough to hang on to a 3-2 win over Reading. Tommy WIlson got the start and tossed six scoreless, allowing only two hits. Binghamton backed him with two runs on a home run from Quinn Brodey and a single from Patrick Mazeika, then added another run in the eighth on Gavin Cecchini’s double. That run proved critical, as Stephen Villines coughed up two in the bottom half, but steadied before the lead was lost.
