Syracuse scored seven runs early on- Brett Baty drove in 3, JT Schwartz 2, and Austin Allan and Mike Brosseau 1 apiece- and those runs were all needed as the rehabbing Kodai Senga allowed five runs in the fourth. The Mets scored an additional run, but thankfully it wouldn’t matter, as the bullpen put up zero after zero after zero.
