A nine-run 5th inning propelled Syracuse to an easy win over the Rochester Red Wings in their first game out of the break. Both Rhylan Thomas and Luke Ritter had three-hit days, Carlos Cortes went deep, and Brett Baty walked three times (a potentially encouraging sign as he works through approach issues). Meanwhile, Tylor Megill struck out seven, though he did also walk four.
