Mets Daily Prospect Report, 7/10/24: Spooky Syracuse

SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 8, SYRACUSE 6 / 10 (BOX)

Making his second rehab start, Kodai Senga allowed a pair of hits in two-plus innings, walking two and striking out three. Syracuse took the lead in the bottom of the first and added an insurance run in the second, but the bullpen torched that 4 run lead in the seventh. Josh Walker recorded just a single out after giving up three runs and having an inherited runner of his score, knotting things up at 4-4. Syracuse took the lead right back, plating a run in the bottom of the frame, but yet again the bullpen couldn’t lock things down.
