Sean Gilmartin had himself a night: he pitched 5.1 "decent for Albuquerque" innings and also went 3-for-3 with a double and 4 runs batted in. While Gilmartin wasn't too good as a pitcher, the 51s were more than good enough at the plate, thrashing Isotope pitching for 23 hits, including five doubles and home runs apiece. What made this offensive outburst unlikely was that Albuquerque starter Jeff Hoffman had been very good this season, but Dilson Herrera greeted him with a leadoff home run that only proved to be the beginning of the onslaught.
