Last night, the 51s were dismantled by the Salt Lake Bees by a score of 11-5. Corey Oswalt started the game on the mound for the 51s and was rattled by the Bees’ battling lineup. In 2.2 innings pitched, he gave up five hits, two home runs, seven earned runs, and three walks. He was taken out of the game in third inning. Unfortunately for the 51s, their struggles on the mound continued as their relievers gave four earned runs and two home runs.
At the plate, Dominic Smith, Cody Asche, and Colton Plaia were productive.
