BINGHAMTON 7, HARRISBURG 3 (BOX)

In the lone game in the Mets’ system, Brandon Sproat continued to impress in his third start in Double-A ball, as he went seven innings for the second consecutive start. In this one, he had struck out five, walked two, and gave up just one run on four hits. In three starts with the Rumble Ponies, he’s logged 19.0 innings of work and has a 1.89 ERA with 20 strikeouts and 5 walks.

At the plate, Binghamton jumped out to an early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first, and Matt Rudick, Kevin Parada, Ryan Clifford, and JT Schwartz had multiple-hit days.
