Syracuse rallied late but couldn’t recover from a four run second inning, falling to the Red Wings in their first game of the week. New arrival Jake Mangum was on base twice and stole a base while Nick Dini had a home run. On the other hand, Khalil Lee, newly back from St. Lucie, continued to struggle, striking out twice in four at bats.
