SYRACUSE 4, ROCHESTER 2 (BOX)
The Syracuse Mets scored early and often, driving in a run in the first, second, third, and fourth. The Red Wings chipped away in the middle innings, scoring in the fourth and fifth, but the back half of the bullpen shut them down; Tyler Jay tossed three scoreless innings, now allowing a single baserunner, and Josh Walker earned his second save in the ninth, giving up a hit and striking out the side.
