The Rumble Ponies got on the board first, scoring two in the top of the third on a Sam Haggerty double that allowed Andres Gimenez to score from third (having tripled earlier in the inning) and a Will Toffey RBI single that drove Haggerty home. The Rumble Ponies gave back both runs in the next half inning. After getting the first two outs of the inning on the first two hitters he faced, Chris Mazza loaded the bases on a walk, a single, and a hit-by-pitch.
