Christian Scott continued his excellent start to the 2024 season, tossing six-innings of two-run ball. Both runs came in the first inning- first baseman Kyle Manzardo hit a two-run homer- but Syracuse came roaring back quickly, tying the game in the second with a Jose Iglecias two-run homer. Ji Man Choi hit a bomb of his own in the fourth to give the Mets the lead, and they never looked back.
