The Mets are now on the cusp of moving onto the NLCS. They crushed the Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLDS Monday night at Citi Field to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
The Dodgers led off the second with three straight singles to load the bases. Yasmani Grandal singled to right to score two runs. But Curtis Granderson’s throw to the infield was wild and a third run scored to give the Dodgers a 3-0 lead.
But the Mets answered right back in the bottom of the inning, with a little help from the Dodgers infield.
