The Mets are charging up the odds board in the National League East in much the same way they are climbing in the NL wild-card standings.
On July 30, William Hill listed the Mets at 500/1 to win their division. Just this past Sunday, they were still a healthy 300/1. Heading into Tuesday night’s game against the Marlins at Citi Field, the Mets are down to 60/1, behind the Braves at -600, Nationals at 7/1 and Phillies at 15/2.
Nick Bogdanovich, director of trading at William Hill, tells The Post the sportsbook wrote 12 tickets at 500/1 and 12 more at 300/1.
