With a win in their first game of a doubleheader in Atlanta today, the Mets clinched a playoff spot, a remarkable return to the postseason considering how poor the team’s record was in late May. And with a loss in the second game, the Mets finished as the 6th seed in the National League and will face the Brewers in the Wild Card round—with Game 1 set for tomorrow evening.
For now, all we know for sure is that Luis Severino is scheduled to start Game 1 of the series.
