Mets’ Captain scratched from tonight’s lineup

The news broke on Twitter a little after 4:30 PM, naturally causing Mets Twitter to erupt. According to SNY, David Wright is out due to a back-injury. Mike Puma of the NY Post elaborated on this stating that Wright’s spinal stenosis has flared up.

As this is the first full season that Wright is playing since his spinal stenosis diagnosis, we wondered how this would affect the Captain; in fact, the Rising Apple team previewed what we should expect from Wright. There were a lot of unknowns, and a lot of pessimistic views.
