The Captain just doesn’t seem to be able to catch a break. We all remember how he was out for the majority of last year due to his spinal stenosis diagnosis. Now, his year may be over because of potential surgery.
The news of this potential surgery broke on Twitter late afternoon with several beat writers tweeting the following:
David Wright is discussing possible neck surgery with Dr. Robert Watkins in consultation with #Mets doctors. Will come to a conclusion soon.

Mets will have clearer answer in the next few days whether David Wright will rehab or undergo surgery on herniated disc, per Sandy Alderson.
