The New York Mets made a host of roster moves today to try and infuse some energy in the bullpen.
Buddy Baumann, a left-hander the Mets acquired off of waivers from the San Diego Padres in the end of April, was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas. He made one appearance with the Mets, entering in the eighth inning of a 9-0 game against the Toronto Blue Jays on May 16. After recording five outs, he gave up a three-run home run to Richard Urena. He has a 2.45 ERA over 7.
