The Mets have recalled Jacob Rhame and purchased the contract of outfielder Matt den Dekker and optioned Kevin Kaczmarski and Drew Gagnon to Triple-A.
This marks den Dekker’s second stint with the Mets after he amassed 210 at-bats combined during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He hit .238 with one home run and 13 RBI as a Met before being traded to the Washington Nationals before the start of the 2015 season for reliever Jerry Blevins. He’s played for the Nationals and Detroit Tigers over the past three years.
