The New York Mets today announced that the club has recalled LHP Buddy Baumann, selected the contract of RHP Tim Peterson from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and selected the contract of RHP Scott Copeland from Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League. In order to make room on the 25-man roster, the Mets optioned RHP Jacob Rhame to Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned infielder/outfielder Phillip Evans to Las Vegas (AAA). To make room on the 40-man roster, the Mets transferred outfielder Juan Lagares to the 60-Day Disabled List and designated LHP P.
