MIAMI — Before September, the Mets could get a much-needed offensive boost.
Joining the Mets at Marlins Park Saturday to continue baseball activities, Lucas Duda said the stress fracture in his lower back should be fully healed in the next couple weeks, allowing him to then begin a rehab assignment.
Duda, who took ground balls and dry swings earlier in the week, worked on tracking pitches, in addition to running and throwing, but he hasn’t yet hit against live pitching.
“The most important thing is that I feel good,” Duda said.
