Before the season started, just about all of baseball predicted that the Mets would be a better team than the Nationals. The early results were not reflecting that same hypothesis and, due to the weirdness of the new schedule, the Mets did not play their rivals to the south for the first two plus months of the season. But with last night’s victory, as well as tonight’s 6-3 dub, the Mets are finally starting to look like the superior team, albeit with a grain of salt as big as Mr. Met’s head tossed in due to small sample size.
