The Mets have announced their lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS this afternoon in Philadelphia, and there are two notable changes in it.
J.D. Martinez gets the start at designated hitter today, which comes as no surprise after Carlos Mendoza mentioned that he’d play against the Phillies’ left-handed starting pitchers. And Harrison Bader gets the start in center field, giving him his first start of the postseason. He’s entered all four of the Mets’ postseason games as a defensive replacement and/or pinch runner in the late innings with one plate appearance and two runs scored.
