The first televised New York Mets game of 2019 is right around the corner, which is good news if you’ve missed watching Mets games during the offseason. The team announced earlier today that they will broadcast 14 spring training home games this year, including the opener on Saturday, February 23 against the Atlanta Braves.
In total, 11 games will air on SNY, with three games being picked up by WPIX. Along with the opener, SNY will air three games against the rival Washington Nationals towards the latter part of the schedule. The Mets will also face off with the World Series champion Boston Red Sox in a split squad game on Monday, March 4, which can also be seen on SNY.
