The Mets open the 2018 season on Thursday, March 29 against the Cardinals at Citi Field, it was announced on Tuesday.
Interleague games against the Yankees will take place June 8-10 at Citi Field and July 20-22 at Yankee Stadium. The Mets face the A.L. East in interleague play, hosting the Blue Jays (May 15-16), Orioles (June 5-6), and Rays (July 6-8), and traveling to Baltimore to face the Orioles (Aug. 14-15), and Boston to face the Red Sox (Sept. 14-16).
The Mets wrap up the season with a six-game homestand -- three games against the Braves and three games against the Marlins -- from Sept.
