The New York Mets have activated right-handed reliever Bobby Parnell from the 15-day disabled list, the team announced.
Parnell, who returned from Tommy John surgery earlier this season, had been placed on the DL on August 18 due to “fatigue.”
Before he was placed on the disabled list, the Mets gave Parnell the option of accepting the 15-day stint or being designated for assignment.
So far this season, Parnell has posted a 5.59 ERA and 1.86 WHIP in 19.1 innings pitched.
