The New York Mets activated closer Edwin Diaz on Saturday after he served a 10-game suspension for violating MLB's policy on foreign substances.

The Mets, who continue their weekend series at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday, also called up right-hander Eric Orze and optioned right-hander Ty Adcock to Triple-A Syracuse.

Before the suspension, the 30-year-old Diaz picked up two saves and a win after coming off the injured list on June 13 due to a shoulder injury. He is 2-1 with a 4.70 ERA on the year, with seven saves in 11 opportunities.
