Mets acquire Kelly Johnson from Braves... again

The Mets have acquired Kelly Johnson from the Braves for Triple-A pitcher Akeel Morris.

Johnson, 34, is hitting .215 with a .273 OBP and .289 SLG in 132 plate appearances for the Braves this season, while playing first base, second base and left field.

Last season, the Mets and Braves connected on a deal that Johnson and Juan Uribe to the Mets for minor leaguers Rob Whalen and John Gant.

In 138 plate appearances after last season's trade, Johnson hit .250 with a .304 OBP
