The busy Mets acquired infielder J.D. Davis and Minor League infielder Cody Bohanek from the Astros on Sunday. Houston received Minor League outfielder Ross Adolph, infielder Luis Santana and catcher Scott Manea in return.
The trade comes one day after New York dealt for speedy outfielder Keon Broxton, sending three Minor Leaguers to Milwaukee.
Davis, Houston's third-round pick in the 2014 Draft, hit .175 with one homer in 103 at-bats last season. Santana was the Mets' No. 24 prospect.
