REINFORCEMENTS
Nineteen of the Mets 39 total picks and three of their first four were high school players. Many of the Mets top prospects are in the upper levels of the minor leagues and on the verge of reaching the majors soon. Leftfielder Michael Conforto, centerfielder Brandon Nimmo and shortstop Gavin Cecchini are at Double-A Binghamton, shortstop Matt Reynolds and pitcher Steven Matz are with Triple-A Las Vegas and second baseman Dilson Herrera and catcher Kevin Plawecki are shuttling between MLB and Triple-A.
