The two big topics I heard today centered around the Giants bullpen and who will start at first base for the Mets on Wednesday night.
Here's what I'm thinking, roughly 24 hours until game time...
1) Will the Giants use Johnny Cueto in relief?
If he's on the roster, "Yes," I heard a few times today at Citi Field. Otherwise, they'd leave him off and add an extra reliever or bench player. Giants manager Bruce Bochy wasn't asked about him specifically. However, he last pitched in a game on Sept. 29, so he's well rested, he's thrown in relief before, and - in a win-or-go-home game - if he's in the building - in a tie game, going extra innings or if Madison Bumgarner gets rocked - Cueto has to throw.
