Steven Matz is back with the Mets, and will start one game this weekend in Miami. Some reports said it was Saturday, but Kristie Ackert said it's likely Sunday. Either way, he's back and that's good thing.
The other news is that Syndergaard will likely be skipped this weekend (it's a road game, smart move), with Bartolo Colon possible taking his spot on Saturday.
Whatever happens, it lines up Neise, Harvey and deGrom for the big Nats' series next week. It's their chance to really bury the Nationals, but honestly, the Mets have a chance to do that now.
