In the ever-changing, never-certain saga of Matt Harvey and the mysterious 180 innings limit, Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said that past performance does not necessarily indicate future results.
Harvey, who is in his first season since undergoing Tommy John surgery, threw 77 pitches over five shutout innings, gave up one hit and one walk and struck out seven before being removed from the game in favor of a host of imploding relievers in the Mets' 11-2 loss to the Yankees on Sunday night at Citi Field.
