Matt Harvey and Neil Walker will both be out for a few weeks with injury. Thus is life for the Mets.
Harvey was diagnosed with a stress injury in his throwing shoulder. Harvey left Wednesday’s game after just four innings, complaining of a tired arm. As far as how long he will be out, Sandy Alderson said the Mets are measuring it “in weeks, not months.” That’s good, but we’ve heard that before. The Mets will place him on the DL when a replacement is ready.
