Matt Harvey continued his strong start to the season Tuesday, hitting 97 mph with his fastball and giving up two runs, five hits and striking out six in 5 2/3 innings before leaving with a leg cramp.

Harvey was gifted with a 3-0 lead before taking the mound. He gave up a run in the second and fourth innings, respectively, but escaped a bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning when he struck out Odubel Herrera.

Harvey was unable to finish the sixth inning due to a leg cramp he suffered when running to cover first base.
