Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully will miss the postseason after undergoing a recommended medical procedure Thursday, according to the Dodgers.
The 87-year-old Scully previously was expected to be part of the Dodgers radio broadcasts and make his first trip to Citi Field during the NLDS.
Last month, Scully announced plans to return to the Dodgers booth for his 67th season, in 2016. Scully, who calls primarily Dodgers home games, missed the team’s final series of the regular season because of health issues.
