Juan Lagares is working this winter with Craig Wallenbrock, who is the hitting instructor credited with changing J.D. Martinez's swing, according to NY Times reporter James Wagner.
Lagares is looking to follow the greater trend of Major League Baseball: hit more fly balls and, in turn, more home runs.
"This was my idea," Lagares told Wagner. "I'm trying to find the help that may benefit me."
Of course, Lagares isn't about to turn into Aaron Judge, but any excess home runs would be a good thing for both player and club.
