The Mets are understandably excited to be seeing Kodai Senga making his season debut tonight, and the news of his getting activated should fill most fans with excitement. However, that excitement now must be tempered, as amidst the series of roster moves the team made in adding Senga to the team’s active roster, the pitching staff will also be temporarily be losing one of its key members, as Dedniel Núñez is being placed on the 15-day injured list with a right pronator strain. In corresponding moves, Adrian Houser has been designated for assignment, while Eric Orze has been recalled from Triple-A to fill in the empty bullpen spot.
