Klay Thompson’s bro crushes Mets with stunning walk-off

LOS ANGELES — Hansel Robles could only drop his head and stroll from the mound as “I Love L.A.” blared from the speakers.

One moment he appeared to have pinch-hitter Trayce Thompson struck out to end the inning, the next the Dodgers were celebrating a walk-off victory. Thompson’s shot into the left-field seats sent the Mets to a 3-2 loss at Dodger Stadium that ended a three-game winning streak.

After retiring the first two batters to start the ninth, Robles got ahead in the count to Thompson and appeared to paint the corner with the strikeout pitch.
