With the passing of Mets legend Rusty Staub on Monday, many in the baseball world mourned the loss of a player that spent 23 years in the MLB.
SNY's Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling were among those saddened by Staub's loss, and they expressed what he meant to each of them at Citi Field ahead of Opening Day.

"Obviously this is a sad day for Met land here, rusty is a very dear friend and he has his pace in Met lore," Hernandez said, fighting back tears.
