Johnson excited for Mets return

Kelly Johnson, who was re-acquired by the Mets in a trade with the Braves on Wednesday, said despite leaving his home in Atlanta, he is excited to come back to the Mets, reports ESPN New York's Adam Rubin.

Johnson was hitting .215 with a .273 OBP and .289 SLG with the Braves before being traded to the Mets.

"It's obviously a good situation," Johnson said, according to Rubin. "I know what I'm coming into. I'm way more comfortable. And them knowing me too, that's also a key. You don't have to feel any pressure about proving to be this or that.
