Joe Girardi is hoping to lock up another managerial job

Joe Girardi hasn’t managed a game since the 2017 American League Championship Series. He and the New York Yankees fell to the eventual World Series champion Houston Astros in seven games during that time. After that, Girardi’s contract expired and the Bombers decided to hire Aaron Boone to be their new skipper.

Girardi now works as an analyst for MLB Network and Fox Sports, currently color commentating the Astros-Rays American League Division Series. However, Girardi is looking to get back into the dugout, as he hopes to find another managerial position in the future.
