LOS ANGELES – Jimmy Rollins didn’t offer any “team to beat” proclamations on Thursday about his current team, the Dodgers, and their chances in the NL division series. But the Mets’ longtime nemesis and tormenter from his days with the Phillies offered a wide smile and a few laughs when asked about facing his former division foes yet again.
“Any moments? There are a few, yeah,” Rollins joked before the Dodgers' workout ahead of Friday’s series opener.
Rollins, the NL MVP in 2007 when the Phillies overcame a seven-game divisional deficit with 17 to play to overtake the Mets, actually was a little shaky on the some of the details when asked about his favorite memories against the Mets during his 15 years in Philadelphia.
