Jimmy Kimmel to throw pitch at Game 2 of NLCS

He may be a New York transplant, but Jimmy Kimmel is slated to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the second game of the NLCS at CitiField Sunday night, a source told the Daily News.

While he’s now a Los Angeles-based late night funnyman, 47-year-old Kimmel has kept close to his New York roots by twice taping stints of his show in the Big Apple.

The Mill Basin native, in town to tape five episodes of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House this week, is an avid Mets fan.
