RHP Jim Henderson knows the odds aren't great for him to make the team out of spring training. The 6'5" reliever is making a bid for a spot in the bullpen after recovering from shoulder surgery that forced him to miss the entire 2015 season.
Henderson received a non-roster invitee to spring training from the Mets. The former closer seems to be rounding into form again, as he has posted a 1.80 ERA over five innings this spring. He began the spring with three consecutive one-inning appearences without yeilding a hit, but gave up three hits and a run on Tuesday to the Marlins.
