Jeurys Familia Has Arterial Clot in Shoulder, Mets Say

The Mets’ season of injuries continued with an unexpected turn on Thursday. Jeurys Familia, the Mets’ closer, allowed four runs in the Mets’ 6-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, blowing his first save of the year. His velocity was normal but his command was off.
