KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jacob deGrom has become known nearly as much for his long, flowing hair as for what he’s done on the mound, but the Mets right-hander said that might change following the World Series.
Scheduled to start Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday night, deGrom was asked Tuesday if he or his Royals opponent Johnny Cueto — who sports long dreadlocks — has better hair.
“I don’t know,”deGrom said with a laugh. “I think mine is gone at the end of the year, so I’ll give that award to him. It’s driving me nuts.
