Look, there is still a lot of work between here and the Canyon of Heroes, a lot of baseball to be played, a lot of injuries to be overcome, and more than a couple of holes to plug in the lineup, on the bench, in the bullpen. There’s still the matter of all those young starting pitchers returning to health, and the presence of the Cubs in their own league, the Nats in their own division.
