With the Mets’ entire opening series in Washington, D.C. having been postponed because of several COVID cases on the Nationals’ roser, the past few days have felt like an eternity. While the rest of baseball has been playing as scheduled, one rained out game in Boston aside, the Mets have been doing workouts and treading water, waiting for their own Opening Day tonight in Philadelphia.
