It’s unfortunate, but it happens.
For some reason, and it doesn’t just happen in sports, but we, as ordinary people, tend to keep certain (undeserving) people around in our lives.
Mainly, because they once served a purpose in our life, or once filled a need that made us feel important.
But when they start having a negative influence on what we do, that should be a huge warning sign on what needs to happen next.
They need to be cut off.
General managers and owners in sports tend to take a certain amount of pride in seeing “their” players have success.
