Harvey threw 97 pitches over five innings in a Game 3 win over the Dodgers, and he will be scheduled to throw his normal between-starts bullpen session on Thursday -- the day of Game 5. But the Mets will not veer from the schedule they drew up before the postseason began, limiting Harvey to one NLDS appearance in the hopes that he would be unrestricted throughout it.
"The only thing I mapped out is when we talked about Matt Harvey pitching in the playoffs," Collins said. "When we were going through that whole situation about 180 innings and this and that, when we talked about him pitching in the playoffs, the only thing we said was that in the first round, he's probably going to get one start.
